DIY Beauty Tricks with Coconut Oil

My poor dry skin is screaming at me for moisture! Being hydrated just isn’t enough. I’m 100% to blame for being plain lazy. I already have far too many beauty products I use to get ready with and applying lotion is not one I have patience for. My super awesome sister-in-law gave me the most useful beauty secret EVER- mix coconut oil and sugar to create a shower scrub. That way my skin is left feeling moisturized and there’s no fuss over applying body lotion. It’s so stupidly simple.
Now that I’m aware of the best beauty tricks with coconut oil, I’ve become obsessed. I use plain coconut oil to remove my eye makeup and face foundation, to shave my legs, to soothe my dry hands and  I use coconut oil as a deep-conditioner for my hair. Coconut oil works because it’s naturally antibacterial and antifungal. So grab a few clean mason jars and fill them to the brim with coconut oil!
