Workout Week: Feeling Grateful & Bachelorette Recap

Hello, you ray of sunshine! I hope you are feeling as grateful as I am today! I have to shed some light on a few things that have taken place this past week. First and foremost, my in-laws have come and gone. I know what you’re thinking, but surprisingly I’m not happy they left to return to their home in Wisconsin. My in-laws spent their entire twelve days in VA to help my husband, and I settle in our new home. They helped us in the yard, they built shelving for storage, they helped us with electrical work, and even helped paint! Not to mention all the tools they gave us. What a pain in my rear end to have to start all over to find my groove. There’s nothing more annoying than being majorly distracted from accomplishing my goals. UGH. I’m just super angry at sugar, and I despise it with all my being.  Read more
Workout Week: Because Paleo

Workout Week: Because Paleo

Happy 2017!!! I’m thrilled to start the new year with a new blog post to get motivated! I was completely useless last week due to a horrible cold I caught; sore throat and pounding headache. I felt so guilty taking time off from work and the gym, but I knew my body needed to rest to make a quicker recovery. While I was plopped on the couch, I came across an article, I’ll Never Follow A Paleo Diet, Because Bread. Naturally, as a Paleo enthusiast, the headline caught my attention. Nonsense I thought.  Read more
