Good Monday to you! How was your weekend? Are you getting out there and doing fun stuff? I worked all weekend. Most people in D.C. work Monday through Friday and are unable to make it to the salon during the week. That leaves Saturday’s and Sunday’s to be their time to get to the salon. Lucky me, if I want to make money I have to be available during those days. I’ve always worked Saturday’s, but never Sunday’s until recently. Since being a new homeowner, all I want is everything from the Crate & Barrel catalog for my house. I can’t expect my husband to work all the time, which he already does, so I had to step up and suck it up.

Hey! How’s it going? I’m feeling pretty bad for the Green Bay Packers. I’m watching this sad playoff game against the Atlanta Falcons. I’m blogging instead of watching because it’s just too painful to watch. So my house inspection went really well this past Friday! The house needs a few things fixed here and there, but nothing serious. What a relief. Let the countdown to closing day begin!

And so I’m back in full swing from missing an entire week of workouts due to being sick. I’m so incredibly sore and hungry these days. My body is detoxing for sure from the sugary holidays. UGH. What a pain in my rear end to have to start all over to find my groove. There’s nothing more annoying than being majorly distracted from accomplishing my goals. UGH. Hey, guys! I have just one more day left on my 10-day colon cleanse! Even with the time change, turning a whole year older and lack of sleep on election night, I felt super energized all week long. I’m the type of person who needs at least eight hours of sleep or else I cannot function. My brain is slow, my eyelids feel heavy, and I zone out a lot. I’m no good to myself or anyone else around me.

Workout Week

The alarm from my iPad is softly ringing, and I don’t budge an inch. How could I possibly switch the off button when my pillows are swallowing me up into utter bliss?!! I contemplate, to snooze or not to snooze? To workout or not to workout? For a split second, I think f*** it, I deserve to sleep in. The better part of me slaps me to reality and out of bed I go. Rolling out of my warm bed in the cooler season is the toughest move I make all day. I need some major morning inspo before I lose all ambition and never leave my bedside!!!
