When it rains, it pours. Unfortunately for me I had a few misfortunes happen this week. The day I began my herbal cleanse, feeling all sunshine and roses, the dishwasher breaks. My husband takes the car in for an oil change and comes home with a rental and a giant estimate. Same week different night, I’m spraying about half a dozen flies zooming around my living room with a can of Big Sexy hairspray! Hilarious right?! No, not really for me.
In the midst of my crappy week, I reminded myself to take a deep breath and smile. I felt SO MUCH BETTER after a forceful grin. I couldn’t help but laugh, and at that moment I was able to roll with the punches. Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and I know we all start to feel the pressure from the holiday season and act a little cuckoo. After all my years in customer service, I can spot cuckoo from a mile away. I see the stress in my client’s eyes and hear about the endless to-do lists. I’m stressed for them! The holidays could be a little merrier if we took NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers advice and R-E-L-A-X.
The only way we can enjoy the hustle and bustle is to remember to be thankful for all the blessings in our lives. We only have ourselves to blame for our jam-packed calendars.

The Tabata interval is 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest for 8 intervals. The Tabata score is the least number of reps performed in any of the eight intervals. Begin time for muscle-ups immediately after the last 10-second rest interval. Test score equals Tabata score multiplied by number of muscle-ups completed.
